Von Holten Ranch to turn 119 years old

August 20th, 1906, Von Holten Ranch was purchased by David Von Holten's great grandfather.  David and Brandy purchased the family-owned farm in 2013.  If your family farm has been in the same family for over 100 years, it is celebrated as a century farm.  

The family treasures include ditches filled with glass jars and machinery that's time has come and gone.  The other treasures include the old barn wood that we were able to reclaim to build the venue that is used for our events such as Chix in the Sticks.  

Theodore Roosevelt was president when Von Holten Ranch was first purchased.  

Two years after Von Holten Ranch was first purchased the Model T Ford came out.
